This policy explains what personal data XpertMap collects, why, and the choices you have. It is written with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in mind.
What we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone, password (stored only as a secure hash), city.
- Business data: listing details, photos, products, job posts and team members you add.
- Candidate data: profile, resume, skills and applications you submit.
- Enquiries and reviews you send or write.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, pages viewed and actions taken, kept in security and activity logs.
- Payments: processed by Razorpay. We store the order and payment reference, never your card or bank details.
How we use it
- To run your account, show listings and deliver enquiries and applications to the right business.
- To send account emails such as verification, password reset, enquiry alerts and invoices.
- To keep the Platform safe: preventing fraud, spam and fake reviews.
- To improve search and understand how the Platform is used.
Who we share it with
A business receives your contact details when you send it an enquiry or apply to its job. Service providers such as our hosting, email and payment partners process data on our behalf. We disclose data when required by law. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is active. Activity and payment records are kept as long as needed for security, tax and legal obligations.
Your rights
You can view and update your profile at any time, and ask us to correct or delete your data or withdraw consent by writing to us through the Contact page. Some records may be retained where the law requires.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and protect forms. If analytics is enabled, it uses cookies to measure traffic.
Security
Passwords are hashed, connections use HTTPS, and admin access is restricted by role. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
